Things To Look For |
The first thing is too look for is just over all professionalism |

1. How is your DJ and his or her appearance? Is he or she clean and tidy? 3. Manners- Does your DJ curse, ask for Free drinks, or is sloppy in anyway? 4. How does your DJ voice sound to you? Is it nasal or annoying in anyway? 5. Is your DJ set up and tear down time included in the over all price of the event? 6. Transportation- Is crew, trucks, boats, barges and freight lines "if needed” included in the over all price? Or is there an additional charge? 7. Lodging- Is lodging for your DJ "if needed" included in the over all price? 8. Gear- does your DJ have pro gear? A professional disc jockey would not put up with anything less that quality sound. A good jock would be happy and proud to talk about all there gear with you. 9. Back up Gear- Will your DJ bring back up gear? It is VERY important to have back up gear if anything should fail. After all, the show must go on! 10. Is stage lighting, fog, bubbles, games or special effects included in the over all price? Or is there an additional charge? 11. Media- What type of media will your DJ be using? How a DJ runs his show makes all the difference to the over all experience of having a real live disc jockey spinning real discs. Keep in mind that I-Pods are NOT a professional way of disc jockey type media. For all the money you spend on having a DJ there should be a full selection of media that is accessible to you and your guests to thumb through and reminisce, find new & old favorites, and let’s not forget about those dance tunes. |
